What is curated training?

What Is Curated Training? The socio-economic and cultural changes that have arisen with globalization have brought changes in the way they are exhibited in all areas of life, as well as in the 1980s, and have made the curator phenomenon open for discussion around the world.

The word “curator” is derived from the Latin word “curare”, which means “to attract attention”. The curatorship, which appeared together with the concept of museology, has become independent of institutions over time, has determined its working principles, and has become an original profession that makes periodical exhibitions by separating from the usual exhibition techniques. This is the most important process in the formation and independence of curation in its own identity.

In this course, which is based on the basic meanings of curation, what it includes, and how it has improved over time, it is expected that they will have information about “curator” and curation. In addition, examples of curatorial works will be given through museology, festivals, exhibitions, and biennials. A project will be created by selecting a desired one from different disciplines individually or in groups of two people and it will be presented in the final. With this, it is aimed to obtain information about the way a curator works, albeit utopian, and to experience the process he undergoes by conducting research. The curator’s goal is to make people think about the exhibitions he organizes, as well as to excite people and sometimes involve his audience in his “game” with interactive applications. When setting up the exhibition, it puts it in such a way that the viewer will not get lost in it, but on the contrary, he can have a visual experience and enjoy it as if he were reading a book.

Curated Learning In Education

Learning Curation: The learning curator focuses on educating his audience by providing instant information. They fill in the gaps created between the development time dec formal education and a large amount of content available daily/weekly. They also serve as a central resource to support gaps in research, communication of updated information, and educational needs through proactive and planned strategies.  Curated learning as part of learning that works together to achieve the goals of four key functional areas include business partners, fit, active research, marketing/branding, and packaging. Understanding and coordinating these four areas allows curatorial teams to successfully achieve their goals. The fifth field, information architecture, is a specialty outside the scope of learning curation; however, learning curators need to remain in harmony and can play a role in related initiatives. Knowledge is the heart of curated learning. Learning curators always interact with information, increasing their knowledge and developing more insight as they work.

Learning curation requires flexibility and sensitivity, so the team must reflect this on their skill set. A multidisciplinary team means opportunities to adapt and apply unique insights and perspectives. Multidisciplinary learning curation teams provide mutual support and provide a portfolio of skills in a single team. Without a multidisciplinary approach, learning curation is likely to be in name only – the key lacks synthesis and interaction.

Curating educational content is a good idea not only for instructional designers but also for curating content for instructors. This can be done so that the current learning content can remain up-to-date, and the trainers can also be updated in their field.

The socio-economic and cultural changes that have arisen with globalization have brought changes in the way they are exhibited in all areas of life, as well as in the 1980s, and have made the curator phenomenon open for discussion around the world.
